Game settings: Manual Fives, 1 Pawn Out, No Blockades
Winning the individual game is not the objective. The objective is to get as many pawns into your home triangle as possible before the game ends. Each pawn in the home triangle counts as one point.
Monthly Ranking
The legacy format used the highest six scores for each player to determine monthly ranking. Players needed to meet the minimum number of qualifying games for that month. Wildcard positions and playoff spots were then determined from the rankings.
Legacy Tie Breakers
- Compare the ranking-game scores from highest downward.
- If still tied, compare games played and total score according to the published PRO rules.
- If still tied, compare raw score.
- If still tied, compare the sum of first and last score, then the lowest scores until the tie is broken.
Standard Rules
- Everyone plays two rounds, win or lose.
- A player's name must appear in the report to receive points for the round.
- Do not resign; the general Game Rules contain penalties for resigning.
- Late players may miss the qualifying game if a full table cannot be formed.
- Substitute, boot, timeout and DQ scoring follows the published host rules.
- Players historically could win PRO Singles and PRO Pards in the same month, subject to the consecutive-prize restrictions in the rules.
